The Fraud Alerts we receive are sent to all credit unions and, in some cases, banks across the country. Typically, the same alerts that are found on our website can be found on numerous other websites.
These Alerts are provided as a courtesy and should not be taken as an indicator that your account(s) with us has been or will be compromised. These Alerts are intended to educate and forewarn our members of potential scams - whether it’s scams targeting their accounts with us or at other financial institutions.
We have not suffered an intrusion of any kind.
Rest assured we have every precautionary measure in place to protect our members' information. Our network security systems are monitored daily and routinely maintained.

In Memoriam
Our Credit Union has lost a dear friend and volunteer. CW4 (Ret) Jack P. Pierce passed away on July 9th, 2010. Jack was a current member of our Board of Directors and had served as Board member and Vice-Chairman for thirty-six years.
In 1953 Jack enlisted in the USAR where he served until 1957. After his discharge from the Army he took a position with the Military Department of South Carolina as a federal technician. He retired after 34 years of service as Federal Purchasing and Contracting Officer with the military rank of Chief Warrant Officer W4. He was then offered and accepted the responsibility as Director of State Purchasing and Contracting for eight years. Jack served under Adjutants General James C. Dozier, Frank Pinckney, Robert McCrady, T. Eston Marchant, and Stan Spears.
With a passion for member service, Jack was always willing to serve and assist our credit union family. His friendly manner and charm won friends easily. Wherever he went Jack left you with a smile. He will be missed.

FEDERAL REGULATION AFFECTING ALL ATM AND DEBIT CARD HOLDERS
We currently have the option to pay overdrafts on your debit card and ATM transactions. We pay overdrafts at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee that we will always pay the item. However, because of new Federal regulation, we will no longer have the option to pay those transactions if the money is not available in your account unless you ask us to before August 15, 2010.
Our policy has not changed; this new regulation merely requires that we obtain your approval.
Your prompt response is required to ensure that we can continue to provide you with the same service.

It is a legitimate request sent on behalf of the Credit Union. We ask that you please respond to the letter as soon as possible.
Failure to do so, may result in having insurance protection "force placed" on your collateral loan - which will result in an increased monthly payment.
