Your New Building Is Open!
The expansion of your Main Office has been completed! It all started with a discussion at our September 2007 Board of Directors meeting. A building committee was appointed and interviews soon began with prospective architects and contractors. On February 19, 2008 your Board of Directors proposed a budget for the expansion, and approved the project architect and contractor. A design of approximately 1,500 square feet, was approved in April. In August, the Board approved the contractor’s final dollar quote. Construction began shortly thereafter.
And now it is done. The new addition is for you, our members. It is the same friendly staff but in a more professional setting. We have utilized every inch of those 1,500 square feet to offer you improved member service. You no longer have to discuss your financial needs in an open lobby. There is space between our tellers to allow room for account questions and transactions. We have offices for confidentiality and concern. And we are finally handicap accessible! Those treacherous brick steps leading into our old building are gone. We will soon upgrade our telephone and data processing system as well.
All of this excitement surrounding our new facility, would not exist without your support. This building is a testament to the loyalty of our membership throughout the past 43 years. This building, just like the credit union, belongs to our members. As always we have been frugal with your money. We are a conservative organization serving the financial needs of those that truly preserve our freedom. It is a privilege. Thank you for your trust. Now enjoy your new building!
